Will

I love wandering and wondering. It gives me the chance for the most subtle thought bubbles to surface and to see what it could mean.

My time wandering around a lake in Orlando - Lake Eola

I notice that my mind wanders most when I also physically wander. A shadow of a thought, a slither of an idea, something not fully formed permeates the mind. It’s like that bit of fluff that makes it into your eye; you can see something floating but can’t quite make out what it is, and the more you try to see it, the more it moves out of site.

I dug through my writing notes and found this poem. I’m glad it did because this now has willed its way into life. Every piece has its unique energy and it reminds me to not get too caught up and life and seek what goes unnoticed.

Enjoy.

Will

A poem incomplete
started as a feeling,
a fleeting thought
will soon meet the pieces
it needs to make sense
of itself.

Upon this moment
there’s nothing left
but to finish it.
For it will finish itself
and
will itself unto the world.
