Life in Pictures - August 2023

I reflect back on a month jammed-packed with celebrations. The welcoming of a new born to the family, adventures away in wine country, dozens of birthdays, weddings and late-night drives with good mates. Whilst the month was filled with big events, I still found joy in the everyday moments and continue to learn that amazing experiences don't just occur in the weekends.

The poet inside me debates whether the beauty of a moment is stretched or elongated by a momento such as a photo or whether it's actually more beautiful to just be in it and let it be fleeting. I practice both. I've definitely noticed my phone becoming more scarce in terms of photos.

As I continue my journey using my camera, I've fallen in love with the warmer, retro-looking and summer-esque filter. It injected warmth into the final leg of wintery days.

I hope you enjoy these snaps!
